Crowns and Bridges
Dental Crowns
A dental crown offers a reliable solution for restoring the strength and appearance of a tooth that has been weakened by decay or a large filling. It can also serve as an aesthetic fix for significantly discolored teeth. Custom-made to fit perfectly over your existing tooth, crowns replace the visible part above the gum line. Our materials range from porcelain fused to metal, all-ceramic, to gold, ensuring durable and aesthetically pleasing results.
The procedure involves two visits to our clinic. During the first visit, we prepare your tooth, take precise impressions, and fit a temporary crown to protect it. These impressions are sent to our dental laboratory where your permanent crown is crafted. On your second visit, we securely attach the crown using a special dental cement. Our approach is gentle and patient-focused, ensuring your comfort and satisfaction throughout the process.
Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment, or endodontic therapy, is a crucial dental procedure aimed at saving and restoring teeth that are severely infected or decayed. At Balyang Dental, we are dedicated to providing root canal treatments that are not only effective but also comfortable, ensuring you experience relief from pain while preserving your natural teeth.
Why Root Canal Treatment is Necessary: The innermost part of the tooth, known as the pulp, can become inflamed or infected due to deep decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, or a crack or chip in the tooth. Symptoms might include significant pain, prolonged sensitivity to heat or cold, or discoloration of the tooth. When the pulp is damaged, it jeopardizes the overall health of the tooth, making root canal treatment essential to remove the infected tissue and prevent further damage or the need for extraction.
The Procedure: Our root canal procedure is thorough yet patient-friendly. It involves:
- Removing the Infected Pulp: We carefully eliminate the infected or inflamed pulp to prevent further infection.
- Cleaning and Disinfecting: Once the pulp is removed, the canal is meticulously cleaned and disinfected to prepare for the filling.
- Filling and Sealing: The cleaned canal is then filled with a biocompatible material and sealed to prevent any new infection.
The treatment is generally performed under local anesthesia to maximize your comfort and is typically completed in one or more visits, depending on the condition of your tooth and your personal treatment needs.

Cosmetic Dentistry and Teeth Whitening
Cosmetic / Aesthetic Dentistry
Transform your smile with our wide range of cosmetic dentistry options. Whether you're looking for subtle enhancements or comprehensive smile restoration, we tailor our treatments to meet your specific needs. Our services include reshaping teeth, closing gaps, correcting irregular tooth lengths, teeth whitening, and replacing missing teeth. Popular treatments at our clinic include professional teeth whitening, dental bonding and contouring with tooth-colored fillings, as well as the application of crowns, veneers, and dentures.
Direct Veneers (Bonding)
Our direct veneers offer a minimally invasive alternative to traditional porcelain veneers. This method requires little to no removal of tooth structure and does not necessitate laboratory work, making it a cost-effective solution for improving your smile. Direct veneers are ideal for patients seeking a quick enhancement with less impact on the natural tooth.
Teeth Whitening
Brighten your smile safely and effectively with our professional teeth whitening services. Before undergoing whitening, we conduct a thorough assessment of your teeth and gums to ensure the best possible results. If you have inflamed gums, tartar build-up, or surface stains, a preliminary cleaning may be necessary. It's important to note that whitening treatments are designed to enhance your natural teeth only. Any existing dental restorations such as veneers, crowns, or fillings will not respond to the whitening process and may need to be replaced to match your new tooth shade post-whitening.
General Dentistry
Gum Disease Treatment: Healthy gums are the foundation of good oral health. We offer a range of treatments for gum disease based on the severity of the condition, from scaling and root planing to more advanced procedures.
Dentures and Partial Dentures: For those missing several teeth or all of their teeth, we provide custom-fitted dentures and partials that look natural and improve the ability to chew and speak.
Preventive Care and Education: We believe in the power of education to prevent dental diseases. Our team provides guidance on proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional advice to keep your teeth and gums healthy.
Routine Cleanings: Regular check-ups are vital for maintaining oral health. Our thorough exams include dental cleanings, oral cancer screenings, and diagnostic imaging to detect any early signs of problems.
Dental Fillings: We use high-quality materials for fillings to restore the function and integrity of your teeth after decay. Our fillings are designed to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth, providing both aesthetic and functional benefits.
Examinations, X-rays and Digital Imaging
Initial Exam and Treatment Planning
First visit will be for clinical examination of your teeth, gums. Most of the time we take digital x-rays to assess caries, bone loss, infection and other problems that aren’t visible to the eye. After assessment of your oral health and digital X-rays, we will give you a printed treatment plan which has item numbers for the treatments, estimate of cost for each item number and the number of visits to finish the treatments.
Emergency Exam
An emergency dental exam focuses on the problem area (eg: pain, broken tooth, swelling). Most of the time we need to take digital x-ray of the problem area. The goal of an emergency dental exam is to address an acute issue, and to diagnose and recommend treatment to alleviate pain, swelling, or possible infection. Depending on the type of issue, you may need a filling, extraction , antibiotics or other treatments on the day of the exam.
